Sauerkraut Cookies

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sauerkraut, rinsed, drained well
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 ounces chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups cashews, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup cocoa
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs and the vanilla.
- 2 add all dry ingredients and water.mix well.
- 3 add nuts, chocolate chips and kraut.
- 4 mix and drop by heaping tspful onto greased cookie sheets.
- 5 bake about 12 minutes at 350*.
