Sue's Fudge Sundae Pie

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups cereal (rice krispies)
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup hot fudge topping
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup
  • vanilla ice cream

Recipe

  • 1 bring the butter, 1/4 cup corn syrup, and brown sugar to a boil.
  • 2 remove from heat; add 2 1/2 cups rice krispies and mix well.
  • 3 press into a 9 inch pie plate.
  • 4 freeze until set.
  • 5 mix the peanut butter, hot fudge topping, and 3 tbsp corn syrup together.
  • 6 spread half of this mixture over the rice krispies crust. freeze until set.
  • 7 fill shell with vanilla ice cream and drizzle the remaining sauce over the top.
  • 8 freeze until serving.
  • 9 set out 10 minutes before serving and use a hot knife to cut.
