Rolled Oat Chocolate Cake

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Recipe

  • 1 mix first 4 ingredients.
  • 2 let stand to cool for a few minutes.
  • 3 add next ingredients in order.
  • 4 mix well.
  • 5 pour into 8x8 inch greased cake pan.
  • 6 bake for 40 minutes in 350 degree oven.
