Rolled Oats Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Recipe
- 1 mix 1/2 cup rolled oats with 1 cup boiling water. set aside, let cool.
- 2 cream together margarine and sugar, add eggs, add remaining ingredients and rolled oats mixture.
- 3 blend well.
- 4 bake 350°f for 30 minutes in an 8x8-inch pan -- cool, ice with a chocolate icing.
- 5 this is a very moist and delicious chocolate cake. easy.
