Sauerkraut Candy

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 18
  • 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained, chopped
  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 10 ounces miniature marshmallows

Recipe

  • 1 boil sugar, cocoa and evaporated milk to soft boil stage.(234*).
  • 2 add chocolate chips and vanilla and stir till chips are melted.
  • 3 beat in marshmallows and kraut(kraut must be well rinsed and drained.almost dry.).
  • 4 beat till thoroughly combined.and pour into buttered pans to set.
  • 5 cool and cut into squares.
