Rocky Road Bars

Ingredients
- 3 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
- 1/2 cup shortening (i use crisco)
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans are good)
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup whole pecans
- 1 (300 ml) can sweetened condensed milk
- 3 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350*.
- 2 crust - place chocolate and shortening in a 9" x 13" pan and melt in the oven.
- 3 remove from oven and add crumbs, nuts and coconut, mixing well. press firmly into bottom of pan.
- 4 topping - layer marshmallows, coconut and nuts over the crust.
- 5 drizzle the sweetened condensed milk over the top.
- 6 bake @ 350* for 25-30 minutes (until golden).
- 7 remove from oven and cool.
- 8 melt remaining 3 squares of chocolate over hot water.
- 9 drizzle over cooled bar.
- 10 chill to set chocolate , then cut into bars.
