Rocky Road Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 package betty crocker supermoist milk chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup betty crocker rich & creamy chocolate ready to spread frosting

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350:. grease and flour rectangular pan, 13x9 inches.
  • 2 mix half of the cake mix (dry) the butter, brown sugar, water and eggs in a large bowl with a spoon until smooth.
  • 3 stir in remaining cake mix and the nuts.
  • 4 spread in pan.
  • 5 bake 20 minutes; sprinkle with marshmallows.
  • 6 bake 10-15 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed and golden.
  • 7 microwave frosting in microwaveable bowl uncovered on high 15 seconds.
  • 8 drizzle over bars.
  • 9 cool completely.
  • 10 for easier cutting, use plastic knife dipped in hot water.
  • 11 cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.
