Striped Delight

Ingredients

  • 30 oreo cookies
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 (350 g) package philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cold milk
  • 1 (1 liter) container cool whip topping, thawed, divided
  • 2 (113 g) packages chocolate instant pudding
  • 3 1/4 cups cold milk

Recipe

  • 1 process cookies in food processor until fine crumbs form. mix with butter. press onto bottom of 13x9 inch dish. refrigerate until ready to use.
  • 2 beat cream cheese, sugar and 2 tablespoons milk in medium bowl. with whisk until well blended. stir in 1 1/4 cups cool whip; spread onto crust.
  • 3 beat pudding mixes and 3 1/4 cups milk with whisk 2 minutes; spoon over cream cheese layer. let stand 5 minutes or until thickened; cover with remaining cool whip. refrigerate 4 hours.
  • 4 special extra: drizzle each plate with melted semi-sweet chocolate before topping with dessert. sprinkle with crushed candy canes or additional oreo cookies.
