Spicy Oatmeal Cookies

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 4 eggs
• 3 cups oatmeal
• 1 cup chocolate chips
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon clove
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 5 cups flour

Recipe

• 1 mix all ingredients together, thoroughly.
• 2 i like to mix this in my kitchen aide mixer.
• 3 drop by rounded tbsp onto greased cookie sheets.
• 4 these cookies rise as opposed to spreading out.
• 5 bake in a pre-heated 400 degree oven, 12-15 minutes.
• 6 remove to wire rack to cool.
• 7 enjoy!
