Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup butter, at room temp
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant pudding mix
- 2 eggs, at room temp
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup nuts (optional)
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 sift together the flour and baking soda and set aside.
- 3 cream the butter and sugars, then add the pudding and mix until well blended, add the eggs and vanilla and mix.
- 4 mix in the flour.
- 5 add the chocolate chips and nuts and stir until well distributed.
- 6 drop rounded tablespoons onto a ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are just browned.
