Shiny Chocolate Glaze

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe
- 1 melt the butter in a small pan over low heat.
- 2 add cocoa and cream, stir until it thickens, about 2 minutes.
- 3 do not boil.
- 4 remove from heat and stir in the sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- 5 spoon over your cooled cake.
- 6 if you'd like to add nuts on the glaze, sprinkle them over when the glaze is still warm.
