See's Fudge

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 117
  • 4 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 (14 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow cream
  • 3 (12 ounce) bags semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped nuts

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, mix sugar with evaporated milk.
  • 2 stir well to dissolve sugar.
  • 3 bring to a rolling boil for 7 to 8 minutes.
  • 4 in a large bowl, cream butter and marshmallow cream until fluffy.
  • 5 stir in chocolate chips.
  • 6 pour hot mixture over chocolate mixture.
  • 7 when chocolate is melted, add vanilla and nuts.
  • 8 blend well.
  • 9 pour into a buttered 9 x 13 pan.
  • 10 chill.
  • 11 cut into squares before becoming firm.
  • 12 caution: this makes a lot of fudge!
