Rocky Road Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 1/4 cups flour
• 1 cup chopped nuts (divided 1/2 and 1/2, peanuts are my favorite, almonds are good too)
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup mini marshmallows
• 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe

• 1 beat together butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy. stir in flour and 1/2 cup of chopped nuts.
• 2 roll dough into small balls and flatten slightly, place on lightly greased cookie sheet. bake at 350 until lightly browned about 15 minutes.
• 3 met chocolate chips in the microwave or over low heat in a saucepan. when cookies are browned, top each with a dab of melted chocolate and sprinkle with remaining nuts and marshmallows. bake an additional minute or two to lightly brown marshmallows. remove to wire racks to cool.
