Pinot Noir Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g flour
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 4 eggs (whole)
  • 125 ml red wine (pinot noir, merlot, whatever you like)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons milk chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Recipe

  • 1 beat butter, vanilla extract and sugar until fluffy.
  • 2 add eggs and continue mixing (for quite a while until batter is very creamy).
  • 3 mix flour and baking powder.
  • 4 add red wine and flour alternately to dough.
  • 5 add cinnamon, cocoa and chocolate chips.
  • 6 bake at 175°c for about 60 minutes.
