Strawberries & Cream Pie

Ingredients

• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
• 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
• 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 tablespoon shortening
• 4 cups fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
• 9 inches graham cracker crust

Recipe

• 1 in a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
• 2 gradually add sugar and almond extract.
• 3 blend well.
• 4 fold in whipping cream.
• 5 spoon into pie crust (you can use a store bought pie crust, or make your own, of course it's easier to buy one).
• 6 arrange strawberries on top and chill.
• 7 in a small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and shortening stirring constantly until smooth.
• 8 drizzle over strawberries and filling.
• 9 chill until set.
