Scotcheroos

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup karo light corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups rice krispies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Recipe

  • 1 combine the sugar and karo in large pan over medium heat, bring to a slow boil, stirring occasionally.
  • 2 remove from heat.
  • 3 stir in the peanut butter and krispies, mix well.
  • 4 press into a 13x9x2 greased pan.
  • 5 melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in a double-boiler. pour immediately over krispie mixture, spreading evenly.
  • 6 allow cookies to chill before cutting, approx 1 hours.
