Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 0.5 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar and milk.
  • 2 bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • 3 continue boiling without stirring to 235 degrees by a candy thermometer.
  • 4 add butter and vanilla.
  • 5 cool to lukewarm 110 degrees.
  • 6 add peanut butter.
  • 7 beat until mixture begins to thicken and loses it's gloss.
  • 8 at once stir in chocolate chips.
  • 9 turn into greased 8 x 4 inch pan.
  • 10 cut into squares.
