Pareve Chocolate Sorbet

Total Time: 4 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 cooking time is freezing time.
  • 2 combine all but vanilla in a saucepan.
  • 3 heat on medium, stirring frequently, until the mixture reaches a boil.
  • 4 turn off heat, and stir in vanilla.
  • 5 chill.
  • 6 you can either put in an ice cream maker or not.
  • 7 if you do not have one then stir the mixture 2 or 3 times whilst it is freezing.
  • 8 (i do not have one and it is still fantastic).
