Quick Sponge Cake

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g self raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 eggs

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and sugar.
  • 2 add rest of ingrediants.
  • 3 if you want a chocolate sponge flavour now - 2-3tablespoons cocoa mixed with a little hot water.
  • 4 pour into 2 well greased round tins.
  • 5 bake 350f 25 mins.
  • 6 when the sponges have cooled fill with vanilla flavoured whipped cream and berries, put sponges together and pour over chocolate sauce.
