Oooey Gooey Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 30 g butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 3/4 cups hot water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius grease an ovenproof dish around 2 litres.
  • 2 sift flour, sugar and cocoa into a large mixing bowl.
  • 3 add combined milk butter and vanilla essence and stir until smooth. pour mixture into baking dish.
  • 4 sift combined brown sugar and extra cocoa evenly over the top of the pudding mix.
  • 5 gently pour the water over the pudding, using a spoon to break the flow.
  • 6 transfer to oven and bake for approx 50mins.
  • 7 serve hot from the oven, dusted with icing sugar, ice cream and or cream.
