Shortbread Hearts

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 lb butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jam
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted

Recipe

  • 1 sift dry ingredients together. add melter butter.
  • 2 kneed slightly and roll on a lightly floured surface.
  • 3 cup dough with a cutter.
  • 4 bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until set, shortbread should not brown.
  • 5 remove from cookie sheets and allow to cool completely.
  • 6 dab one hart with respberry jam, then sandwich with another heart.
  • 7 dip one half into melted chocolate or drizzle over the top. chill.
