Low Carb Chocolate Creme Brulee

Total Time: 3 hrs 50 mins Preparation Time: 3 hrs Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/3 cup artificial artificial sweetener
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate bars
  • 4 tablespoons low carb brown artificial sweetener

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 2 whisk egg yolks and artificial sweetener until sweetener is dissolved. add cream, vanilla and chocolate. continue to whisk until well blended.
  • 3 divide mixture into 4 four-ounce ramekins.
  • 4 place in water bath and bake until set around edges (approximately 45 - 50 minutes.)
  • 5 remove from oven and leave in water bath until cooled.
  • 6 chill ramekins for at least two hours.
  • 7 spread low carb brown sweetener on top of each ramekin and brown under broiler.
