Mint Bavarian Dessert

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup soft butter
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate syrup
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup soft butter
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2-3/4 teaspoon mint extract
  • 3 drops green food coloring
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 cake: preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 grease and flour 13x9x2 pan.
  • 3 combine first 5 ingredients and bake 30 minutes.
  • 4 cool completely.
  • 5 mint creme center: combine next 5 ingredients and beat until smooth.
  • 6 spread creme center over cake and refrigerate.
  • 7 chocolate topping: melt butter and chocolate chips in a saucepan.
  • 8 remove from heat and stir until smooth.
  • 9 cool slightly, then pour chocolate over top of cake.
  • 10 chill until ready to serve.
