Spicy Dark Cocoa

Ingredients

- 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 4 cups skim milk
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dried ancho chile powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cocoa, and
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Recipe
- 1 1) put chocolate in a large bowl and set aside. pour milk into a medium saucepan and heat on medium-low setting.
- 2 2) in a small bowl, stir cocoa powder and sugar together. add to milk. whisk over heat until blended. when milk is hot, pour over chocolate.
- 3 3) let sit 1 minute. whisk until chocolate is melted and blended. stir in pinch of chili powder. taste. add a pinch at a time until spicy enough.
- 4 4) fill mugs. mix garnish cocoa and chili powder, then sprinkle on top.
