Moist Chocolate Cherry Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients, leaving cherry pie filling and chips to the end.
  • 2 pour into a greased and floured bundt pan.
  • 3 bake at 350 degrees f for 1 hour until done.
  • 4 cool.
  • 5 sprinkle with powdered sugar, or make a glaze to drizzle on the cake.
