Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 (1 ounce) unsweetened chocolate squares
- 3 cups sugar
- 13 ounces evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 melt butter and chocolate in top of a double boiler; stir in remaining ingredients. cook over medium heat, stirring till sugar is dissolved and sauce is smooth.
- 2 serve warm over ice cream. add toppings like chopped nuts or candy sprinkles.
