Stripe-it-rich Cake

Ingredients

• Servings: 12
• 1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
• 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
• 1/3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
• 1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
• 2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages chocolate instant pudding
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 4 cups cold milk
• cool whip

Recipe

• 1 bake cake as directed on in a 9x13 pan.
• 2 remove from oven.
• 3 using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes in the cake at 1/2 inch intervals.
• 4 in large bowl, combine pudding mixes and powdered sugar.
• 5 gradually stir in 4 cups of cold milk.
• 6 beat at low speed for one minute.
• 7 quickly pour 1/2 of the thin pudding evenly over the warm cake.
• 8 allow remaining pudding to thicken and spoon and spread over the top of the cake.
• 9 chill at least 1 hour.
• 10 serve each piece with a dollop of cool whip.
• 11 you can experiment with different flavors of cake and pudding if you like.
