Super Energy Bars

Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup flax seed
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups natural-style peanut butter
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup agave nectar (or substitute with 1/2 cup honey)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 mix all dry ingredients together.
- 3 add peanut butter, honey, and vanilla - mix well. (i used my mixer - it's pretty dense).
- 4 grease a 13x9 baking pan - spread mixture into pan (should be about an inch thick).
- 5 bake for 15-20 minutes.
- 6 cool and cut into squares. i'm going to refrigerate them (in the hopes they will hold together a little better).
- 7 enjoy -- yummy & healthy!
