Homemade Chocolate Syrup

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar, water, cocoa and salt in a medium saucepan.
  • 2 bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • 3 boil for two minutes, stirring constantly.
  • 4 remove from heat and add vanilla.
  • 5 allow to cool completely.
  • 6 serve as you would on anything that you need hershey's syrup for.
