Rich Chocolate Blondies

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350° and grease a 9x9-inch pan.
  • 2 melt the chocolate and butter in top of double boiler over barely simmering water.
  • 3 stir on occasion, until smooth and set aside to cool.
  • 4 in large bowl, with electric mixer, beat the eggs until foamy.
  • 5 with mixer, gradually add sugar and vanilla extract.
  • 6 drizzle in the chocolate mixture.
  • 7 combine flour and salt; add to chocolate mixture using spatula or wooden spoon.
  • 8 blend in chocolate chips. spread evenly into pan.
  • 9 bake 25 minutes, or until a toothpick in middle comes out clean.
  • 10 cool pan on wire rack before cutting.
