Peanut Butter Bon Bons

Total Time: 7 hrs 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 7 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) can ready-to-spread vanilla frosting
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 (16 ounce) can ready-to-spread chocolate fudge frosting

Recipe

  • 1 in large bowl, combine vanilla frosting, peanut butter and margarine with a fork until well blended.
  • 2 stir in crumbs until well mixed.
  • 3 form into 1-inch balls.
  • 4 chill 1 hour.
  • 5 in small saucepan, melt chocolate frosting over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  • 6 do not overheat-- the frosting will become sticky and won't set up properly.
  • 7 dip chilled balls in melted frosting.
  • 8 allow excess to drip off.
  • 9 place on waxed paper.
  • 10 let stand at room temperature until dry, about 6 hours.
  • 11 tip: if the frosting used for coating thickens, gently reheat.
  • 12 use leftover coating for dipping dried fruit or nuts.
