Never Fail Fudge

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 15
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (7 1/2 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chunks

Recipe

  • 1 combine first 5 ingredients.
  • 2 stir over low heat until well blended.
  • 3 bring to a boil over moderate heat, being careful not to mistake air bubbles for boiling.
  • 4 then boil slowly stirring constantly, for 5 minutes to soft ball stage on a thermometer 234 degrees.
  • 5 remove from heat.
  • 6 stir in chocolate,marshmallow creme and vanilla until chocolate is melted.
  • 7 then turn into a buttered 9x9-inch pan to cool.
