Nana's Chocolate Cherry Cake

Ingredients

• 1 (18 ounce) box dark chocolate cake mix
• 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can thank you brand cherry pie filling
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon almond flavoring
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• dark chocolate frosting

Recipe

• 1 mix cake mix, eggs and flavorings until well-blended. (i use a hand mixer and mix for at least 2 minutes.).
• 2 fold in cherry pie filling (gently).
• 3 spread batter into a 8" x 12" pan that has been greased and floured.
• 4 bake at 350 degrees until done. (40-50 minutes, according to the cake mix package.).
• 5 frost with dark chocolate frosting.
