Popcorn Cake

Total Time: 33 mins Preparation Time: 7 mins Cook Time: 26 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup popcorn
  • 1 dash salt (optional)
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup miniture candy-coated milk chocolate candies

Recipe

  • 1 pop the popcorn according to the packing directions,add salt if desired;set aside to cool.
  • 2 in a medium pop,melt the marshmallows & margarine(or butter)over low heat,stirring constantly,until smooth.
  • 3 combine the cany-coated milk chocolate candies with the popcorn.
  • 4 remove the marshmallow mixture from the heat,& pour over the popcorn & candies.mix gently.
  • 5 spoon the mixture into a 13 by 9 by 2-inch pan or a 2-quart oblong pan coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 6 refridgerate the mixture until it hardens,so it's easier to cut.
