Pudding Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 (6 ounce) box chocolate pudding, not instant
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 3 cups milk
- 385 ml evaporated milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 stir sugar, pudding, and cocoa together.
- 2 stir in first amount of milk.
- 3 heat, stirring often, until mixture comes to a rolling boil that cannot be stirred down.
- 4 remove from heat.
- 5 set saucepan in cold water in sink.
- 6 stir.
- 7 lay plastic wrap or waxed paper on pudding to stop crust from forming.
- 8 cool.
- 9 add evaporated milk and vanilla.
- 10 stir well.
- 11 chill until very cold.
- 12 turn into ice-cream maker.
- 13 freeze according to directions.
