Reduced Fat Cupcakes

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 0.5 (18 1/4 ounce) package vanilla cake mix or 0.5 (18 1/4 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup water, plus 2 t water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons applesauce
  • 2 egg whites

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350ã‹å¡f.
  • 2 line muffin tins with liners.
  • 3 in a medium mixing bowl blend cake mix, water, butter, eggs.
  • 4 beat with a hand mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  • 5 pour into lined muffin tin no more than 2/3 full.
  • 6 bake for 19 to 23 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • 7 note: some recipes may use more or less water. check the cake mix box, see how much water it needs, then half that.
