Peanut Butter Banana Muffins

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 -3 medium bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 375 degrees f.
  • 2 grease 10 cups of a 12-cup muffin pan or line with paper liners.
  • 3 combine the wet ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.
  • 4 add the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
  • 5 stir until just combined.
  • 6 add the chocolate chips, mixing lightly.
  • 7 divide evenly among the 10 prepared muffin cups, pouring water into the 2 unused cups.
  • 8 bake in the centre of the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and the top springs back when lightly pressed.
  • 9 cool in the pan.
