Ingredients

- 4 eggs
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup creme fraiche (or heavy cream)
- 4 ounces grated semisweet chocolate
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°f
- 2 butter an eight-inch round cake pan.
- 3 beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture is pale in color.
- 4 sift the flour and blend inches
- 5 add the cream and chocolate and mix well.
- 6 pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 7 turn the cake out onto a rack and cool completely before serving.
