Ingredients
- 1 (18 1/2 ounce) package devil's food cake
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 dash salt
Recipe
- 1 prepare cake mix according to package directions. spoon batter into paper-lined muffin pans, filling 2/3 full.
- 2 in separate bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar - creaming until light and fluffy. add egg and salt - beating well, stir in chocolate chips.
- 3 spoon one heaping teaspoon of cream cheese mixture onto center of each cupcake.
- 4 bake at 350f for 25 minutes.
- 5 cool in pan for 20 minutes.
