Red, & Blueberry Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 pie shell (according to directions)
  • 1 quart strawberry (divided)
  • 4 ounces baking chocolate
  • 1 (8 ounce) package light cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup cold milk
  • 1 (3 1/3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding and pie filling mix
  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries (rinsed or drained)
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Recipe

  • 1 prepare pie shell according to directions& cool.
  • 2 rinse strawberries and carefully pat dry.
  • 3 select 8 "good" strawberries for garnish.
  • 4 slice each in half and set aside.
  • 5 slice the rest of the strawberries for mixture.
  • 6 melt chocolate squares in microwave until smooth.
  • 7 dip strawberry halves in chocolate and refrigerate until set.
  • 8 scrape the rest of the chocolate over the bottom of the prepared pie crust.
  • 9 spread it evenly to coat the entire bottom and sides.
  • 10 next layer the sliced strawberries.
  • 11 whip cream cheese until smooth.
  • 12 gradually beat in milk until well blended.
  • 13 add pudding mix and beat until it begins to thicken.
  • 14 spread mixture evenly over strawberries.
  • 15 arrange blueberries evenly over top of pie filling.
  • 16 spoon whipped cream on top of blueberries creating a border, feel free to make this fancy.
  • 17 place dipped strawberries on top of whipped cream border.
  • 18 refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 19 cut, slice and serve.
