Pears De Menthe

Ingredients

- 2 quarts vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup green cream de menthe liqueur
- 26 ounces pear halves
- 14 ounces pear halves
- 1 (8 ounce) can chocolate syrup
Recipe
- 1 allow ice cream to stand at room temperature to soften.
- 2 with rubber scraper, swirl liqueur into it just enough to make streaks; do not overmix.
- 3 turn into 3 or 4 ice cube trays and freeze until firm - approximately 4 hours.
- 4 to serve: drain pear halves; arrange on glass serving dish, mound a scoop of ice cream in center of each pear and pour syrup over top.
- 5 of course you can also do it in individual dessert dishes.
