Semi-sweet Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (more if you love chocolate)
Recipe
- 1 pre-heat oven to 350°f.
- 2 cream butter, sugars and eggs until smooth.
- 3 combine flour, salt and baking soda together in a separate bowl.
- 4 mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients, and lastly stir in the oats and chocolate chips.
- 5 form into small balls with hands and bake on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper for 8-10 minutes or until very light golden, they should almost look un-cooked (this keeps them soft in the middle).
- 6 store in a tupperware box to keep them chewy.
