whole wheat chocolate chip pancakes

- 3 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips, or to taste

- sift flour, baking powder, and sugar together in a bowl; pour in milk and butter and mix well. stir eggs and vanilla extract into flour mixture until batter is smooth.
- heat a lightly oiled griddle over medium heat. drop batter by large spoonfuls the griddle and cook until form and the edges are dry, 3 to 4 minutes. flip and cook until browned on the other side, 2 to 3 minutes. repeat with remaining batter.
