Steve's Chocolate Almond Marble Cheesecake

Ingredients

- 3 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate shavings or 12 ounces bittersweet chocolate, shavings
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 1 (6 ounce) package sliced almonds
Recipe
- 1 crust:.
- 2 blend crumbs and sugar. fold in melted butter.
- 3 grease 10" spring-form pan.
- 4 press crust evenly on bottom and halfway up the sides.
- 5 filling:.
- 6 boil whipping cream. stir in chocolate and almond extract. set aside.
- 7 beat cream cheese and sugar.
- 8 add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
