Steve's Chocolate Almond Marble Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate shavings or 12 ounces bittersweet chocolate, shavings
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1 (6 ounce) package sliced almonds

Recipe

  • 1 crust:.
  • 2 blend crumbs and sugar. fold in melted butter.
  • 3 grease 10" spring-form pan.
  • 4 press crust evenly on bottom and halfway up the sides.
  • 5 filling:.
  • 6 boil whipping cream. stir in chocolate and almond extract. set aside.
  • 7 beat cream cheese and sugar.
  • 8 add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
