Non-dairy Simple Chocolate Mousse

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 ounces rich whip
  • 1 graham cracker crust

Recipe

  • 1 beat together margarine, sugar, cocoa, and eggs for about 2 minutes until mixture becomes a little separated. (i use an electric whisk).
  • 2 add each egg one at a time to the mixture - beat after each egg.
  • 3 add vanilla.
  • 4 beat for about 5 minutes until the mousse gets lighter (it starts off very dark, you will be able to see the difference).
  • 5 as you mix, make sure to scrape sides so everything mixes well.
  • 6 pour into graham cracker crust and freeze.
  • 7 when frozen (i usually do this the next day) whip up the rich whip and spread over frozen mousse.
  • 8 re-freeze until ready to serve.
