Chocolate Pecan Pie Iv

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup pecan halves

    Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

    Ready Time: 1 hr 30 mins

  • preheat oven to 375 degrees f (190 degrees c).
  • heat butter and chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted; cool slightly.
  • with hand beater, beat eggs, sugar, salt, chocolate mixture and corn syrup. stir in pecans and pour mixture into pie shell.
  • bake until set, 40 to 50 minutes. cool slightly. serve warm, or refrigerate and serve with nondairy whipped topping.
